Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading and using the Trypup app you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app. The contract for use of the app is concluded with the operator, OndysLab s.r.o.
2. Service description
Trypup is an educational simulator of dog care for education and entertainment. It is not a substitute for veterinary, training or other professional care of a real animal. In-app information (costs, vaccinations, articles) is indicative.
3. No veterinary advice
Health and cost content is general and educational. For a real dog, always follow the advice of a licensed veterinarian.
4. Premium, payments and the seller
The app offers optional paid features (Premium subscription and individual breeds). These purchases are sold and billed by the operator of the relevant store — Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — who acts as the seller toward you. Prices are shown in the store including all taxes; OndysLab s.r.o. is not a VAT payer, and the store handles tax and the tax receipt. Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price until you cancel them in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. We donate a share of revenue to partner shelters.
5. Withdrawal and refunds
Because the seller is Apple or Google, withdrawal from a purchase and refunds are governed by the rules of the relevant store. You request a refund in the App Store (reportaproblem.apple.com) or in Google Play. Please note that for digital content supplied online, the right of withdrawal ceases under Section 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose that right.
6. Defects and complaints for digital content
We strive to keep the digital content conforming to its description and functional, and we provide updates necessary to maintain it. As a consumer you have the statutory rights arising from defective performance under the Czech Civil Code. Report a defect or problem to hello@trypup.life; refunds are handled by the store where you made the purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app, spoof GPS data, decompile it or break applicable law.
8. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages from its use. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights under Czech and EU law.
9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, ID 000 20 869, adr.coi.cz) is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. Cross-border disputes are assisted by the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic (evropskyspotrebitel.cz). You can also send a complaint to hello@trypup.life; we will inform you of its handling by email. Consumer-protection supervision is exercised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and personal-data supervision by the Office for Personal Data Protection. We are not bound by any codes of conduct within the meaning of Section 1820(1)(n) of the Czech Civil Code.
10. Privacy
How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Final provisions
We may amend or supplement these terms; the new wording will be published on this page. If any provision is invalid or ineffective, it is replaced by a provision closest in meaning, and the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
This relationship is governed by the law of the Czech Republic; this choice does not deprive you as a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions that would otherwise apply (Art. 6 of the Rome I Regulation).
